2009 Fishing & Charter Reports

Captain Derrick reports that "the bass are taking anything we throw at them." With up to six fish on a rig, the guys from McGrath's Fishing Club had no problem limiting out - leaving plenty of throw-backs for their next trip later in the season. The keepers weighed in at up to 15 pounds and measured up to 35 inches.

The McGrath's crew are long-time customers and avid fishermen. Captain Marty was eager to get their feedback on the new boat at the end of the trip:

"Its got all kinds of room"

"I could stay on it for a couple of days without any trouble"

"Its the nicest charter boat we fish on"

"Its a Cadillac"

The one problem area appears to be the latches that hold the doors in the staterooms and baths open:

"I was just getting used to the bungee cord"
